ザ・クラッシュ - One Gig Too Far Part 1 Shibuya & Osaka 1982 - The Clash

1982年1月24日から2月2日にかけて全9公演が行われた唯一の来日公演より、新たに発見された4公演のライブテイクが、part1とpart2として登場。まずこのPart1には、ツアー初日となる1月24日渋谷公会堂公演と、2日目の25日大阪フェスティバルホール公演を。本ツアーで最も認知されている初日公演は、唯一「Should I Stay Or Should I Go」がオープニングに据えられた公演。異様な盛り上がりを見せる聴衆を前にした「One More Time」、続く「Safe European Home」からは、ジョーの体調不良を全く感じさせない初日の壮絶な演奏が繰り広げられ、そしてアンコールに「Bankrobber」と「Complete Control」が演奏された、セットリスト的には最もレアな公演。そして2日目となる大阪公演は、この後の日本公演のみならず1982年ツアー定番となる「London Calling」がオープニングに据えられた公演で初日には演奏されなかった4曲が追加され、4度のアンコールに応えた圧倒的なステージを披露。初日はコンプリート、2日目は「Clash City Rockers」で一部欠落がある以外は完全という、衝撃のファン必聴タイトル。
