先代窯主・作家

学生時代より唐津焼に魅了され、唐津焼古窯跡を発掘、陶片収集、調査を行う。

1969年 鏡山窯（きょうざんがま）を開窯。陶芸家・塗師淡斎（ぬしたんさい）に師事。

以降、日本橋三越など全国各地美術サロンやロサンゼルスで個展を開催。

1983〜2010年 唐津焼協同組合理事長を務める。

2013年12月 没。
