ルーカスフィルム正式公認 Sideshow販売 天野 喜孝 作スター ウォーズ Star Wars ダース・ベイダー ジクレー版画 世界限定11/100枚作品

1977年5月25日に公開された『スター・ウォーズエ
ピソード4／新たなる希望』の公開から30周年となる2007年、ルーカスフィルムは「スター・ウォーズをアートとして再解釈する」公式プロジェクトを展開しその一環として、世界各国の著名アーティストに、
「あなたならスター・ウォーズをどう表現するか」
というテーマで作品制作を依頼しました。
その中で、日本を代表するアーティストである天野喜孝氏が選ばれ、ダース・ベイダーを日本の伝統的な墨絵・筆致で表現したのが、
この**『Amano：Darth Vader』**です。
天野喜孝氏はファイナルファンタジーなどのイラストを手掛けた日本を代表するアーティスト。

ルーカスフィルム公認で世界限定でACME Archives Limited制作で販売はスタチューなどの販売を手掛けいたSideshow(サイドショウ)が多分初めて絵画を取り扱った作品で下記の仕様からもハイエンド・コレクターズアイテムとして販売されました。

購入当時海外から輸送された段ボール箱や保存袋もそのまま有り日が当たらない場所に専用額装に入ったまま展示保管していましたので日焼けなどはありません
が約20年弱前の物なので額装の細かいスレなどはあるかと思いますが目立つ程ではないと思います。

In 2007, marking the 30th anniversary of the release of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope (originally released on May 25, 1977), Lucasfilm launched an official project to "reinterpret Star Wars as art." As part of this initiative, they invited renowned artists from around the world to create pieces based on the theme: "How would you express Star Wars?"

Among those selected was Yoshitaka Amano, one of Japan's most celebrated artists, famous for his iconic character designs and illustrations for the Final Fantasy series. His contribution to the project is this masterpiece, "Amano: Darth Vader," which depicts the dark lord through the lens of traditional Japanese ink-wash painting (sumi-e) and brushwork.
Officially authorized by Lucasfilm, this piece was produced by ACME Archives Limited. It was distributed by Sideshow, a company primarily known for high-end statues and figures, marking what was likely their very first venture into fine art distribution. As reflected in the specifications below, it was released as a premium, high-end collector's item:

Condition Notes:
The piece comes with its original overseas shipping cardboard box and protective storage bag from the time of purchase. It has been displayed and stored inside its custom frame in a spot completely shielded from direct sunlight, so there is no sun damage or fading. Please note that because this is an item from nearly 20 years ago, there may be minor scuffs on the frame, but they are not noticeable.
I am listing this piece from my personal collection and sincerely hope it finds a home with a passionate Star Wars collector who will truly cherish it.
