It has been stored in a cardboard box in a dark environment for approximately 44 years. There are no writings, torn pages, or folded pages. No sanding, trimming, restoration, or other alterations have been performed. It is free from cigarette smoke and pet odors. While there is some age-related dirt and discoloration, it remains in remarkably good condition for a magazine of this age. *AKIRA* later became one of the most influential and highly acclaimed works in the history of Japanese manga and animation, earning worldwide recognition and becoming a symbol of modern Japanese pop culture.
