| フランス自然主義文学の傑作、モーパッサン『ピエールとジャン』の19世紀美装本。 ギ・ド・モーパッサン（Guy de Maupassant, 1850-1893）が1887年に発表した中編小説『Pierre et Jean』。本作はモーパッサンの代表作のひとつであり、巻頭の有名な「小説論」（Le Roman）でも知られています。 本書は1888年刊の大型挿絵本で、画家アルバート・リンチ（Albert Lynch, 1851-1912）による挿絵をもとに制作されたフォトグラヴュール（写真凹版）を多数収録。 背革・角革装丁の半革本で、19世紀フランス愛書家伝統の美装を備えた愛蔵に値する一冊です。 |
