ショベルなどの16Tよりも歯の数が少なく、1回のキックでもより多くクランキングができます！
エンジンのかかりを良くすることを狙った部品です。

マグネトー仕様でエンジンをかけるのが大変な方にオススメです。

※1959年後期～1966年はもともと14Tです。
16T(33430-50)は1950～1959年前期/1967年以降に使用されています。
ただもうかなり古い年式なので変わっている場合も多々あるかと思いますので念のため実車の歯の数を確認されることをオススメします。

Kicker Gear 33430-59
Compared to earlier 16T kicker gears, the 1959-1966 14T gear reduces the overall kicker ratio by 15%. Depending on the engine sprocket, the crankshaft will spin 1/5 to 1/4 turns farther on one kicking stroke. Whether farther means faster, too, this depends on kicking stroke vigor. Nevertheless, on magneto equipped low compression twins a 1/4 turn more may be the difference of a spark at the spark plug electrodes and no spark at all. High compression twins will not benefit from the 14T gear.
