江戸末期の鉄製急須。八角形の本体に自然な錆と酸化が見られ、銅製の蓋と鉄製の取っ手が特徴。本体には松の枝を模した彫刻があり、シンプルながら洗練されたデザイン。内側にも使用感が残り、長期間使用されていた様子。底面および蓋内に「龍文堂造」という銘が刻まれており、龍文堂の作品であることが確認できる。日本の伝統的な茶道具としての高い技量がうかがえる。

An iron teapot from late Edo period Japan, octagonal in shape with natural patina and light rust. Features a copper lid with small knob and arched iron handle. The body is engraved with minimalist pine branch motifs. Interior shows signs of use. Marked 'Rymon-do' on base and inside lid, indicating production by the renowned tea wares maker Rymon-do. Reflects high-level Japanese metalwork craftsmanship.
