This is a coat from the Autumn/Winter 2014 collaborative collection by designer Raf Simons and artist Sterling Ruby. A classic trench coat is adopted as the base. The varying fabric and multi-colored tape details applied across the body incorporate Sterling Ruby's signature fabric and bleach collage artistic style. They are positioned with the intention of introducing visual chaos and noise to the coat's refined, minimalist lines.
