Up for auction is a very rare vintage "Windcutter" Series No. 2990 Gauge 1 electric locomotive with a matching tender, manufactured by Bing (Gebrder Bing), Germany, circa 1910s-1920s.
■ Condition & Missing Parts (Please Read Carefully) - Physical Condition: There is no major structural damage or dents, but there are paint flakes, scratches, and rust consistent with its 100+ year age. Please check the photos carefully. - Missing Parts: 1. One of the power collection rollers underneath the body is missing. 2. The round ball grip at the tip of the reverse/forward lever inside the cab is missing. 3. The wiring codes connecting to the front headlights are missing. 4. One of the coupler buffers on the back of the tender is missing. - Replaced Parts: The two front light bulbs have been replaced with new 12V bulbs. - Mechanics: All parts and drive wheels move smoothly by hand. The wheels are heavy but rotate completely without catching. - Operation: Untested. Due to the lack of a proper vintage layout/transformer, we have not performed an electrical test. Sold AS-IS for display or restoration.
