     小学校の総合学習用に設計しました。
    長さ 10ｆｔ（3.0ｍ）で13.5ｋｇととても軽く 子供達で十分取り扱いできます。子供なら2～4名 大人2名まで乗船できます。
    当ホームページ（♯Nature Craft club ♯カヌー 検索可）で子供達の乗船動画があります。参考にしてみてください。
     製作は本場USで伝統的な工法 「ステッチ＆グリュウ工法」で行います。
    まず 4ｍｍべニアで船体 木部を作り 、エポキシ樹脂を使ったFRPコートで防水処理を行います。
     今回は組立説明図と1993年、入稿記事（婦人生活社 手づくり木工辞典 現在絶版）のコピーを同送します。 
     是非 手作りカヌーに挑戦してみてください。
