    バウンティフロアブルの有効成分であるパクロブトラゾールは、茎葉および根から植物体に吸収され、蒸散作用により導管から生長点部位に運ばれます。
    生長点に到達したパクロブトラゾールは、細胞内のミクロゾーム上で、ジベレリンの前駆物質であるカウレンからカウレン酸への酸化作用に関与する酵素の活性を阻害することにより、ジベレリンの生合成を抑制します。この結果、伸長は制限され植物体の栄養生長は抑制されることになります。
